Community Services
Newlife Care is a registered non-profit charitable organisation. The founding ministry of Newlife Care was our Counselling Service established by Rev John and Annette Tully. From these humble beginnings, we have now grown to a local mission organisation that works with, and offers support to our local community through seven different and engaging services.
Newlife Care has a small paid staff and over 170 volunteers who do whatever needs to be done to make sure we are serving our community with excellence. Without our band of engaged and committed volunteers, we would not be able to support the number of people we do.
Our services include Counselling & Psychology, Emergency Food Aid, an on-site Op Shop, Disability Service and Programs to serve those who are disadvantaged or doing it tough, like Street Care, Princess for a Day and Training Women Well.
People with physical and/or intellectual disabilities feel welcome and included in the community at our Crossroads Program. Crossroads offers an engaging program of social and interactive activities including live music and bands, and the opportunity to make friends or catch up with old pals over morning tea and lunch. Operating from our wheelchair accessible campus on Fridays, Crossroads is an inclusive, fun and safe place for everyone. Crossroads is a NDIS registerd service provider and participants with or without NDIS packages are welcome to attend.
We offer support for those in our Church family and in our local community and we are – “Gold Coast People Helping Gold Coast People in Need”. As we all serve together I say thank you for all your prayers, volunteer support and financial support.
